Fly Jinnah officially launches Lahore–Quetta route
Fly Jinnah has officially launched a new route between Lahore and Quetta, adding an important link to the airline’s domestic network in Pakistan. The new service not only expands travel options for passengers, but also strengthens connectivity between Punjab’s economic and cultural hub and the strategic capital of Balochistan province.
The addition of Quetta to the carrier’s Lahore network marks a clear step in Fly Jinnah’s domestic expansion strategy, particularly on corridors with steady demand from business travelers, visiting friends and relatives traffic, and connecting passengers. The airline’s entry on this sector also introduces additional competition to Pakistan International Airlines, helping diversify the market offering and improve air access between the two major cities.
In the initial phase, the route is being operated with three weekly round-trip flights using Airbus A320 aircraft, providing a capacity profile suited to market demand while optimizing operational efficiency.
Lahore is one of South Asia’s most distinctive cities, renowned for Lahore Fort, the Badshahi Mosque, and the historic Walled City with its strong Mughal heritage. Beyond its role as Pakistan’s cultural center, the city also draws visitors with its celebrated cuisine, vibrant bazaars, and rich artistic life.
Quetta, meanwhile, is set amid the dramatic mountain landscapes of Balochistan and has long served as a strategic gateway in western Pakistan. The city is known for its cooler climate compared with many other parts of the country, its famous fruit orchards, and its convenient access to the natural attractions of the surrounding highlands.
