Wizz Air UK officially launches London Luton–Mykonos route

Wizz Air UK has officially launched a new route between London Luton and Mykonos, adding another notable nonstop link between the UK travel market and one of Greece’s most renowned island leisure destinations. The new service further strengthens the airline’s presence at London Luton while providing passengers with an additional convenient option for Mediterranean island travel.

The addition of Mykonos to Wizz Air UK’s network reflects the carrier’s selective expansion strategy into high-demand leisure destinations, particularly as outbound holiday travel from the United Kingdom continues to show strong appeal. For London Luton Airport, the route enhances international connectivity to Southern Europe; for Mykonos, it creates another important direct gateway for inbound traffic from the London area.

The route is operated with three weekly round-trip flights using the Airbus A321neo, bringing modern and efficient capacity to this market.

London remains one of Europe’s most compelling metropolitan destinations, where finance, culture and global tourism converge.
