Alrosa (6R) resumes Novosibirsk (OVB) - Krasnodar (KRR) service

Alrosa has officially resumed nonstop service between Novosibirsk and Krasnodar, restoring another important link in Russia’s domestic air network. The return of this route not only expands travel options for passengers, but also sends a positive signal about the recovery of demand between Siberia and southern Russia.

The reinstatement of the Novosibirsk–Krasnodar air corridor carries significance beyond a simple point-to-point route. It reconnects Novosibirsk, Siberia’s major economic, scientific, and logistics hub, with Krasnodar, the dynamic gateway to southern Russia. This link materially shortens travel time between two complementary growth centers, supporting flows in trade, services, tourism, and visiting friends and relatives. The route is operated once weekly with one roundtrip flight using a Boeing 737-800. This operating profile reflects a cautious but pragmatic approach, sufficient to test demand while laying the groundwork for potential capacity growth in the future.
