Condor (DE) resumes Palma de Mallorca (PMI) – Münster (FMO) service

Condor has officially resumed service between Palma de Mallorca and Münster, restoring a direct air link that had been suspended since 27 October 2024. The relaunch not only adds a convenient travel option for passengers at both ends of the market, but also sends a positive signal about the recovery of leisure travel demand between the Mediterranean island and northwestern Germany.

The route links one of Europe’s most vibrant holiday destinations with the affluent Münsterland region, where demand for sun-and-sea travel remains consistently strong. By offering nonstop flights, Condor significantly reduces journey times compared with connecting itineraries, reinforcing its presence on a highly seasonal yet revenue-rich market. Against competition from Ryanair and Eurowings, Condor’s return underscores its determination to recapture leisure traffic and expand the breadth of its Germany–Spain leisure network.

At the current stage, the airline is operating multiple weekly roundtrips with Airbus A320 aircraft. The schedule is structured flexibly across the week, catering to both short breaks and longer stays on Mallorca.

Palma de Mallorca stands out for its blend of Mediterranean sunshine, modern marinas and a historic old quarter rich in heritage. A key highlight is the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO World Heritage Site ճանաչized for its distinctive cultural landscape, where terraced hillsides, stone villages and coastal mountain roads create a striking setting. From the seafront cathedral to turquoise coves, the city offers a resort atmosphere that is both refined and lively.

Münster is one of western Germany’s most livable cities, known for its academic character, bicycle-friendly streets and the historic charm of its old town.
