FlyArystan (FS) launches Almaty (ALA) - Gazipaşa (GZP) route

FlyArystan has officially inaugurated nonstop service between Almaty and Gazipaşa, adding a new air link between Kazakhstan’s largest economic center and Türkiye’s Mediterranean leisure gateway. The launch marks another notable step in the low-cost carrier’s ongoing international network expansion.

The new route is designed not only to serve fast-growing leisure demand, but also to create a more convenient connection between two clearly complementary markets. On one end is Almaty, a dynamic metropolis and Kazakhstan’s leading commercial, financial, and consumer hub; on the other is Gazipaşa, the airport gateway near Alanya, known for its long beaches, warm climate, and well-established resort ecosystem in southern Türkiye. With no direct competitor currently recorded on the sector, FlyArystan is making a strategic statement through the advantage of nonstop service, shortening journey times and strengthening the route’s appeal for both holidaymakers and independent travelers.

FlyArystan is operating the route with two weekly round trips using the Airbus A320. The measured yet consistent operating pattern reflects a cautious but ambitious approach, aligned with peak seasonal leisure demand and Central Asia’s growing preference for warm-weather destinations.

Almaty blends modern urban energy with the distinctive nomadic cultural heritage of Kazakhstan. From its tree-lined boulevards to the dramatic backdrop of the Tian Shan mountains, the city projects a sense of openness and vitality. It also serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding natural landscapes, including alpine lakes, canyons, and well-known ski resorts.

Gazipaşa offers a quieter side of the Mediterranean coast while also serving as the gateway to vibrant Alanya, with its turquoise beaches, cliffside fortress, and lively resort atmosphere. From here, travelers can easily access the historical layers of the Antalya region, home to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Xanthos-Letoon, recognized for its outstanding significance to ancient Lycian civilization.
