Jeju Air (7C) Officially Launches Jeju (CJU) – Seoul Incheon (ICN) Service
Jeju Air has officially launched its round-trip service between Jeju and Seoul Incheon from 12 May 2026, adding an important new link to the carrier’s domestic network. The introduction of this route not only expands travel options between South Korea’s leading resort island and the country’s largest aviation gateway, but also provides fresh momentum for leisure travel, visiting friends and relatives, and commercial connectivity.
Jeju Air’s decision to place Jeju on a direct connection axis with Incheon carries significance beyond that of a conventional domestic route. Jeju represents leisure, nature, and a slower-paced lifestyle, while the Seoul capital region, anchored by Incheon, serves as the nation’s core center for business, services, and international transit. The new service therefore creates a flexible air bridge between two of South Korea’s most dynamic poles, enabling passengers to access a broader flight network more efficiently while underscoring Jeju Air’s strategic focus on strengthening connectivity and deepening its presence in high-demand markets.
In the initial phase, the route is operated on multiple days per week, with frequency adjustments to be made over time in line with market demand. Jeju Air deploys the Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8 on the service, offering a familiar and efficient operating configuration well suited to a high-volume domestic market.
Jeju is a destination defined by blue seas, volcanic rock, and poetic coastal drives. The island is renowned for its distinctive natural landscapes, most notably the Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes, which have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their outstanding global geological value. From windswept beaches to tranquil rural villages and a deeply rooted local culture, Jeju continues to inspire both leisure travelers and those seeking a richer travel experience.
Seoul, via the Incheon gateway, presents a modern rhythm of life while retaining the cultural depth for which South Korea is known. The city appeals through its blend of vibrant shopping districts, diverse street food, and palaces and traditional villages that preserve the memory of past dynasties. From here, passengers can experience a fast-moving Asian metropolis while also benefiting from seamless onward connections to a wide range of domestic and international destinations.
