LATAM Airlines resumes Rio de Janeiro–Buenos Aires route today

LATAM Airlines today officially resumed its round-trip service between Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires, returning the carrier to one of South America’s key international markets at the very start of the peak leisure and business travel season. The move further strengthens LATAM’s regional presence while adding another nonstop option between Brazil and Argentina.

Strategically, the restoration of this route enhances LATAM’s connectivity between two of the region’s leading economic, tourism, and cultural hubs, while improving its competitive position in a corridor also served by JetSMART, Gol, Flybondi, and Aerolíneas Argentinas. The service also supports the airline’s broader connecting network in Brazil and across the South American market.

Effective today, LATAM is operating the service daily with Airbus A320 aircraft, providing stable capacity and a frequency profile suited to both business and leisure travelers.
