As refueling progressed, the aircraft's weight increased and the fuselage settled down onto the steps.
Outcome / HandlingThe aircraft sustained minor structural and skin damage as the fuselage pressed onto the stairs. The flight was subsequently cancelled, and the aircraft was grounded for inspections and repairs.
Current StatusNo injuries occurred on the ground. Passengers were deplaned and accommodated while the airline arranged travel on alternative flights. The Boeing 787-10 was taken out of service for repair.
