Loganair officially launches Jersey–Norwich route

Loganair has officially launched its new route linking Jersey and Norwich, adding a notable nonstop air connection between the Channel Islands and eastern England. The new service immediately broadens travel options for both business and leisure passengers while further strengthening the airline’s domestic and regional network.

From a strategic perspective, the route enhances connectivity between Jersey, a distinctive leisure destination, and Norwich, the gateway city to Norfolk. At a time when demand is increasingly focused on flexible, convenient travel and avoiding transfers, the introduction of a nonstop service offers clear advantages in both journey time and accessibility for two highly complementary markets.

Loganair is operating the route with the ATR 72, initially at a frequency of one weekly return flight, increasing to two weekly return flights from early June.

Jersey stands out as a destination known for its beautiful coastline, golden sandy bays and the rich historical character of the Channel Islands. Visitors are typically drawn to Mont Orgueil Castle, the Jersey War Tunnels and the island’s coastal routes, which reflect a distinctly Atlantic resort atmosphere.

In the opposite direction, Norwich ranks among England’s most appealing historic cities, renowned for Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Castle and its impressively preserved medieval centre. The city also serves as a gateway to the Norfolk Broads and England’s east coast, giving it strong appeal for both cultural tourism and short leisure breaks.
