Eurowings officially launches Berlin–Olbia route, adding another gateway to Sardinia

Eurowings has officially launched its new Berlin–Olbia service, adding a notable nonstop link from the German capital to the Italian island of Sardinia. The new route shortens travel time for both leisure travelers and passengers visiting friends and relatives, while also expanding choice in a market where easyJet is already present.

The launch of the Berlin–Olbia route underscores Eurowings’ continued push to expand its Southern European leisure network, capitalizing on strong summer demand for Mediterranean beach destinations. With Berlin ranking among Germany’s largest source markets and Olbia serving as a key gateway to the Costa Smeralda, the route carries clear strategic value in strengthening direct connectivity between a major urban center and a high-end destination that continues to gain popularity.

Eurowings operates the route with 2 weekly round trips using Airbus A320 and Airbus A321neo aircraft.

Berlin is one of Europe’s most historically layered and creatively dynamic cities, renowned for landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag building, and the legacy of the Berlin Wall.
