Air Seychelles officially launches new Victoria–Istanbul route

Air Seychelles has officially inaugurated a new route linking Victoria and Istanbul, marking a notable step in the carrier’s strategy to expand its international network from Seychelles into intercontinental markets. The new service adds an important gateway between the Indian Ocean and one of the largest aviation hubs in the Europe–Asia region.

Air Seychelles’ entry into Istanbul not only strengthens connectivity for leisure and visiting-friends-and-relatives traffic, but also gives Seychelles deeper access to the extensive transfer network of Türkiye’s largest city. As demand for travel between resort destinations and global metropolitan centers continues to recover, the route reinforces the airline’s position in the international segment while offering travelers more convenient itinerary options.

Air Seychelles operates the Victoria–Istanbul route with two weekly round trips using the Airbus A321neo. On the return sector, the flight makes a technical stop in Hurghada before continuing to Seychelles.

Victoria, the small yet captivating capital of Seychelles, serves as the gateway to an archipelago renowned for its white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and relaxed tropical lifestyle.
