Breeze Airways officially launches Orlando–Brownsville route
Breeze Airways has officially launched its new route linking Orlando and Brownsville, adding another nonstop option between Central Florida and the southernmost part of Texas. The new service marks a notable step in the carrier’s network expansion strategy while bringing Brownsville into Breeze Airways’ increasingly diverse destination map.
The launch carries significance beyond a simple leisure connection. Orlando is one of the most dynamic aviation markets in the United States, while Brownsville serves as a key gateway to the Rio Grande Valley, meeting travel demand from local residents, business travelers and passengers visiting friends and relatives. The new nonstop service therefore shortens travel time, strengthens connectivity and supports economic exchange between two regions with distinct appeal.
Breeze Airways is operating the route with two weekly round trips using the Airbus A220-300.
Orlando has long been known as Florida’s entertainment capital, home to world-renowned theme parks such as Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort. In addition, the city is a major gateway offering convenient access to Central Florida’s beaches and the Sunshine State’s distinctive lake ecosystems.
At the other end of the route, Brownsville reflects the character of South Texas, with its location near the Gulf of Mexico and the U.S.–Mexico border. The city is the gateway to South Padre Island, known for its long beaches, warm climate and outdoor activities, while also offering historical depth tied to one of America’s longstanding border regions.
