Wizz Air Malta (W4) launches seasonal Timisoara (TSR) - Berlin (BER) service

Wizz Air Malta has officially inaugurated its seasonal service linking Timisoara and Berlin, establishing a new air bridge between western Romania and the German capital. The nonstop route significantly reduces travel time while offering a more convenient option for leisure, visiting friends and relatives, and business travel during the peak summer season.

The new service represents more than a simple point-to-point connection. Timisoara is one of Romania’s most dynamic growth centers, distinguished by its technology sector, manufacturing base, and rich cultural identity, while Berlin stands as one of Europe’s leading hubs for innovation, startups, and commerce. By linking these two high-energy cities with a direct flight, Wizz Air Malta is not only strengthening connectivity between two developing markets, but also stimulating two-way traffic flows, from city-break travelers to migrant communities and frequent business passengers.

Under the planned operating schedule, the route is served with two weekly round-trip flights using Airbus A320 aircraft. The compact and efficient operating profile reflects the carrier’s flexible approach to capturing seasonal demand while further reinforcing its footprint across Central and Eastern Europe.
