Technical Issue Details
•The Boeing 737-8 MAX (N8701Q) was operating flight WN1048 from Baltimore (BWI) to Windsor Locks (BDL).
•The Boeing 737-8 MAX (N8897K) was operating flight WN562 from Baltimore (BWI) to Houston.
•During the pushback phase on the ramp, flight WN562 struck the winglet of flight WN1048, which was also executing pushback from an adjacent gate.
Outcome / Handling
•Both aircraft sustained minor damage to their wingtips.
•The pushback operation was halted immediately, and both aircraft were removed from service for technical inspections.
